Am glad I purchased this heater

I appreciate this heater very much as the oil holds the heat for a period of time. It provides fast and reliable heat in a smaller space in our home that seems cold. It's compact nature makes it easy to move when not in use and it's light weight allows my wife to move it easily. I have not got a power bill since purchasing it but keeping warm is a great gift.

This is my second heater. My first one still worked, but after 6 years of use it needed replaced. I use it under my desk to keep my feet warm in the winter. I'm very cold natured, and this heater works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This heater was a pleasant surprise. It is different from the other space heaters. Not only does it do a good heating job, it provides a high degree of safety which is very important.

NewAir AH-400

The NewAir-400 is just what I needed under my desk. Every other heater I tried failed at keeping a constant comfort level. I would get too hot and then have to shut it off. But not with the NewAir-400, I have been comfy all the time. We even purchased a second for another co-worker.

NewAir AH-400 Energy Efficient 400 Watt Oil Personal Heater

For the price, don't expect much heat from such a small heater. It will provide some heat but you'll need to use the Maximum setting and use it in an enclosed space to keep the heat within a closed area. I use it in the bedroom though it doesn't help much really but I keep it on overnight on medium heat to serve electricity costs. Also, it can be used in the bathroom but you'll need to keep it on for awhile to heat up the room. Again, given its small size, do Not expect much heat as it's really meant for SMALL, Enclosed spaces. You can use it on carpets but just be careful. On a daily basis, I unplug it during the day then plug it back into the outlet at night before use. Remember to remove the plastic that covers the unit after opening from the box but before using.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heater works well for small spaces

When I received this heater and assembled, the feet broke due to an issue with manufacturing. A drip of dried coating caused the foot tab to be too thick. I shaved down the coating and contacted Newair, which immediately sent replacement feet. Their customer service is very good. The heater is perfect for a small half bath.
