I bought this because of its low energy demand and lack of fan noise. It heated our 20' camper trailer very well without blowing any fuses. I would like it better if it didn't get hot to the touch, but haven't seen another heater with the features I wanted.
So small and powerful . . fits perfectly in my Air

After 7 years in a 50-year old Airstream trailer with no heat, fuses would blow out with the smallest heater and living two blocks from the water, using a flower pot on the stove for a mini-chiminea and having the walls wet all the time, I__m in heaven with my wonderful New Air AH-400 space heater . . it keeps the 30-foot space all warm, toasty and dry . . thank you Air __n Water for making my life so luxurious !!

I use AH-400 in the office, under a desk. Silent heater is critical for working environment. My wife also use AH-400 in her office, under a desk.
Pros: silent and space-saving

NewAir AH-400 Energy Efficient 400 Watt Oil Personal Heater

For the price, don't expect much heat from such a small heater. It will provide some heat but you'll need to use the Maximum setting and use it in an enclosed space to keep the heat within a closed area. I use it in the bedroom though it doesn't help much really but I keep it on overnight on medium heat to serve electricity costs. Also, it can be used in the bathroom but you'll need to keep it on for awhile to heat up the room. Again, given its small size, do Not expect much heat as it's really meant for SMALL, Enclosed spaces. You can use it on carpets but just be careful. On a daily basis, I unplug it during the day then plug it back into the outlet at night before use. Remember to remove the plastic that covers the unit after opening from the box but before using.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Can Burn If Touched, Can't tell IF it's 'energy efficient'!, Doesn't provide enough heat!, Flimsy Feet bottom holders, No Timer!

Small and quiet, heats up okay, but you cant put it near anything. Heats up a 10x 10 room as long as the door is closed.

Good under desk heater

Was tired of having cold legs and feet at work. This solved the problem without taking away too much leg space. Cycles off a bit too often, then my feet feel cold again. I have the dial 3/4 of the way and may need to try max. Perhaps the thermostat is too sensitive?
This heater is silent and effective. I suffered from cold feet (literally) since my office tended to get kind of cool with lots of windows. I'm in Seattle and we have our share of cold days. This keeps my feet warm by just sitting it to face my lower legs. Perfect.
