Awesome little camera!

I am an avid amateur photographer. I shoot a Canon XSI and the 50d, but they are too big to bring with me everywhere. That is why I purchased this camera. I absolutely love it! It has great features, great portability, and it is overall just an awesome camera! I would highly reccomend this camera to anyone looking for a small camera with a big zoom and a small price.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable

I bought this camera to be a second camera. I found it so versitile that I use it almost exclusively. I love the fact that the photo style is displayed on the screen as the settings are changed. The 10X with 40X over is a real handy tool. I used the fireworks setting with awsome results. I up graded to a 4 gig card and now it has room for loads of pictures and vidio. It's easy to use and takes pics in very dim light even without the easy to use flash. The on screen menue is very helpful.

I received this camera as a gift from my husband about a year ago. I love everything aboout it. It's easy to use and takes awesome pictures! I must say my 3 year old son put his hands on it and I was devastated that the lenses were not working.
I sent it in to Cannon and was extremely satisfied with the prompt service and warranty it offers, I will buy from Cannon again and I've recommended to my friends for the product and service satisfaction I've personally have received.

Love this camera

I purchased this camera for a trip to CA, it was well worth the money for travel. You do need to read the directions and info on how to use the camera properly, the auto mode works well for typical use, the zoom is great and works very well...was extremely impressed when taking first photos. I would highly recommend this to some one that does not want to spend a lot of money but wants a great camera...I read reviews on a lot of cameras and decided on this one for the price range and have been very satisfied. As for other reviews concerning batteries I have rechargeables and take videos and photos and do not go through batteries any more than other cameras I have owned.

Great Zoom

Purchased this camera last fall and have taken it on numerous hiking trips to the White Mts in NH. It has performed flawlessly in sub zero temperatues and high humidity / damp conditions. Love the zoom. Upgraded from previous camera just to get the 10x and compact size. Am amazed how clear & sharp the pictures are at the full 10x zoom. Have recommended this camera to all by friends & associates. 2 people have already purchased it.
Pros: easy to use, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable, durable, great zoom
Cons: no view finder, manual flash

Have not taken one bad photo yet. It works so well for me on auto shoot that I have not taken much time to learn all the rest of the great features and capabilities.

Great Action Shots of Horse Races, etc.

Having used this camera in Monroe, Louisiana for over one year, I can guarantee that this is a great camera, with exceptional quality, and all of the features you could want. I've used it for sporting events, such as horse races, car races, football games, etc., and have always gotten great photos without blurring. Also, it takes great videos, and you can easily zoom-in and zoom-out with the awesome 10x Optical Zoom. The huge bright 3" LCD screen on the back of the camera makes it easy to see what you are shooting, and it makes a large display of your photos on the bright LCD after you make shots, when you want to review them, or show them to your friends. Also, the memory card/stick/chip will go directly into the port on your computer to upload photos to Facebook, etc., If your computer does not have that port, there is a cord that comes with the camera. You can plug one end of the cord into the camera, and the other end into your computer to upload photos, without removing the memory card from the camera. The camera allows easy access to the memory card and batteries. This camera is just the right size to easliy slide into my blue jeans front pocket, which makes it super convenient not to have to carry it in my hands, or on a neck strap. I highly recommend this camera.
