Fantastic Camera

Owned this camera for a little over 2 yrs and have taken over 12,000 pictures. It is a fantastic camera. A little confusing to learn all it can do at first, but well worth your time to learn. Takes wonderful pictures in all lighting conditions. It is small enough to put in a purse or jacket pocket. If you want good battery life buy rechargeable batteries and let them run down completely before recharging them. I can get 400 pictures or better on one set of batteries. Must admit I use the faster speed cards. Love the flash adjustment. Really like the fact that it has manual controls also. The 1st yr. used mostly auto mode but switched to manual for a lot of my pictures. Took the camera on a trip to the mountains. Set the camera on manual setting, fastest speed and snapped away out the car window all the way down the mountain while my son was driving. To my amazement they all turned out beautiful. I was impressed. Will buy another one to have when this one wears out. I have told everyone about this camera. My brother bought one after telling him about how much I love mine. He loves it. Haven't found any point and shoot with the optical zoom or price that can compare. Would definitely recommend.
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use, can adjust flash settings, manual controls

I had read about the short battery life but this is crazy. I used the camera over the weekend for 4 hours and 2 brand new batteries are burnt out. The battery life of my old Canon was remarkable compared to this new camera.
Overall, I am very pleased with quality and features but I'm going to have to figure out a plan for the battery life issue.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable
Cons: Short battery life

I just love this camera, the features are almost that of a DSLR without the high price tag. The pictures are great.
This a replacement for a Canon Rebel X.

Great Camera-Great Price

This camera has got everything a point and shoot camera should have. They got it right by making this camera. I love mine and can't see using a different until i breaks and needs to be replaced. It is compact enough to take with you anywhere. But it's not so small that it gets misplaced often. Again Great camera at a super price!
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, good battery life, durable

Loving this camera!

I've had my SX110 for about 9 months now and I love it! Not only does it take amazing zoom and action pictures, but it subs as a terrific video camera, too. My camcorder died, and I'm in no hurry to replace it because my Powershot takes even better videos than my larger recorder did! The SX110 is a bit complicated if you use the manual settings, but well worth the effort to learn to use it. I love this camera.
Pros: easy to use, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, good battery life
Cons: Complicated controls/menu

Incredible! Especially for a point-and-shoot!

This is an amazing camera. It is great for every day pictures and (amateur, in my case) photography. The image quality would make it seem like an SLR. The macro is incredible. This camera could focus from 1 mm to 100 miles! It is easy to use and durable. I have had no problems at all while using this piece of equipment.
This camera uses AA batteries rather than a rechargeable lithium ion battery; therefore the battery life is quite short, especially while using the flash. This can be seen, however, as a pro and a con. I don't have to take time to charge my battery, but I do have to spend extra money on AA batteries that I have to replace often.
I have no complaints, though. This is a great camera. I recommend it to everyone.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable
Cons: Short battery life, flash takes time to charge, takes aa batteries not rechargeable batteries
