View finder

I like everything about the camera except that it has no view finder. Have gone back to my old camera that has one. I would recommend you find a camera with a view finder. It is very hard to take pictures without one.
Pros: Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality
Cons: Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not purchase this camera battery life very short maby 15 pics

Don't know if it is just this specific camera or this model - but much prefer my "earlier" version which broke down after 2 or 3 years.-- I had thought we could get it repaired but was told by many that replacing it would be a better way to go....
Big disappointment. I got this camera from my husband as a Christmas gift. It was to replace my previous Canon camera which had given me far greater satisfaction.
I have struggled with this camera for over the 5 months and finally have told my husband what a disappointment it is. Poor quality overall. Rarely do I get a sharp image and that it what I am seeking. Could not comfortably recommend the product.

i like the camera the looks are good.... But i did have one problem I had to bring one back because the function button would not work

Great Camera for the budget minded

I purchased this for my daughter since she has a budding interest in photography. On the one hand it's easy to use for basic photography and has many of the common features of the cheapo point-and-shoots. On the other hand, it has easy to access functions like the manual mode with quick access to shutter speed, apeture, etc. Other camera in this class do not have easy to access functions.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable

I love this camera but it erases pictures that I've taken without me manually deleting them and this can be devastating when you've taken pictures of important events.
Pros: good zoom and focus
Cons: erases my pics

Would be nice if you could just put the memory card in the printer, BUT NO you have to use there software or the clumbsey controls on the cammera and run the batterys down. It is a nice cammera and does take a nice picture, But cheaper ones do also. Then the software had a clitch in it so had to download the fix for it. I would not buy this again.

Cons: Difficult to use, Complicated controls/menu, Short battery life
