I love this camera!!!!!!!

I purchased this camera to replace my other Canon on which the battery door broke. The door on this one is fragile as well, so I use the USB cable now to transfer my pics to my PC. Before I took the SD card out. Too much opening and closing, I guess.
Anyway, I love this camera. It's heavier than any of my other point and shoots, but I like the weight. It makes me feel like I'm actually holding a quality product. It takes excellent pics indoors and out, unless you're taking a super close up of something. Then it's blurry.
I love the fact that you can scroll through the pics now rather than thumbing through each one to find what you want. Great feature! The camera's functions are easy to use, if you've ever had a digital in the past. If you're new to digital you may have to read the instructions a bit. But out of the box it's an almost perfect point and shoot.
The default resolution of the pics is very large making them difficult to email to people or post to web sites, so I adjusted it to a lower resolution and everything's awesome.
Overall I love this camera and its many features. I suggest just playing around with it when you get it rather than reading the manual. Most of it is self explanatory. Then read the manual on points of interest only.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, good battery life, durable, scroll feature
Cons: Heavy/Bulky

A Must Have

Having worked in the professional photography field for over 15 years and with many different cameras, I chose the SX110IS for my grab and go camera. It fits nicely into a purse or jacket pocket, is light weight (not flimsy) and comfortable to handle. The image quality is very impressive, especially in low light (no flash) and macro settings. This camera is full of features and super easy to use. You will need rechargable batteries and memory cards with large storage because you will want to keep shooting ! !
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable

after shopping for cameras for months i picked the sx110is.didnt want a cheap camera but couldnt afford top end.i have had it now for 3 months and am completely satisfied.its a little intimidating at first with the 200 page instruction book.but all you need to do is set it to auto and press the button.all the functions can be changed and set manually as you get to know the camera, but can change back to auto at any time.another feature i like is the flip flash.turn it on only when you want it.the 10x optical zoom is awsome.battery life is great.i just returned from a 10 day vacation.i used camera everyday and took 250 photos.changed batteries once.takes 2 aa the pictures are clear and bright with great color and contrast.the large screen and lightweight design make it the nicest camera i have owned
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life

I was a celebrity photographer/paparazzi in Los Angeles for many years and I got this Camera on a traveling trip to Elvis's Graceland. It is the God of small cameras. It was easy to shoot 4000 pictures in a couple of months. I totally love her and highly suggest it for anyone seeking a compact camera with professional features and capabilities.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable, i hughly suggest rechargable batterie.
Cons: Short battery life, software editing features a little unchoicy

I purchased my new camara mostly to take pictures of my son's sporting events. I purchased it primarily because my SLR camara is a Canon and I love the quality(I have had it for years). I love the ease of use of this camara and it takes awesome pictures. I would defintely recommend it for the experienced as well as the non-experienced photographer.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable

I am really glad I bought this camera. It was easy to get use to using. I have had it only about a month. Have taken some really nice shots of birds using a tripod and the zoom. Also takes great pictures of foliage, what brilliant colors they are. Original batteries didn't hold up very well, have switched to E-2 Lithium and the life is much better.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, durable
Cons: Short battery life

This camera is great camera if you are not looking for SLR camera. Is easy to use for a person that doesn't know how to properly use a digital camera, (most people are in this category) but has lots of options for advanced users. Takes excellent pictures in low light levels. No complaints about this camera, as have taken tons of great photos for the past 2 years.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, good battery life, durable

Great features both automatic and individualized. Easy to use, love the zoom features for taking distance and action shots. Rechargeable batteries last considerable amount of time. Second Powershot camera purchased. Highly recommend for performance, quality of results and price.
