Fantastic camera

This camera is great. It fits in the pockets of my jacket or pants. The picture quality is very good. The best part is that is uses regular batteries, so no need to bring the charger or run out of power at inconvenient times. Just slip in new batteries (lithion for over 300 shots).
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Auto-Digital Camera

This is the best camera that I've owned as far as a digital camera goes. On automatic it takes great pictures yet you still have options if you want to set it yourself. I've had my camera almost a year. Never had any trouble with it and I've even convinced a few of my friends to buy one. If you want great photos without a lot of fuss this would be the camera for you.
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Disappointing

This camera has great features and takes stunning photographs . . . . but all the bells and whistles in the world don't mean a thing when the batteries don't last for more than 20-30 photos. It also takes entirely too long for the flash to recycle . . . sometimes as much as 10 seconds. I've missed a lot of good shots because of those two issues. I'm very disappointed in this camera.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance, Short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Upgrade

This is my 2nd Cannon Power Shot to replace Toshiba PDR-M81, gave the SX100IS to daughter for graduation and got SX110IS for me this yr. I tried different light settings in dark to see which worked better, flash washed out pic, night mode too dark, but indoor setting was just right. Will do more experimenting before vacation. Love the easy mode. Used movie mode on SX100 to tape school play, was great. Hope the new SX110 is just as easy. Went with 10x optical zoom as opposed to 4x on cheaper model. My Toshiba was only 4.2 megpic w/2.8 optical and I got terrific senior pics at fraction of the cost of professional, so I hope these 2 new canon cameras do the same.
Pros: easy to use, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality
Cons: Short battery life, doesn't have view finder
I would recommend this to a friend!

The pictures from this camera are truly breathtaking. It works well in many kinds of light. The settings for SuperFine pictures is truly beyond expectations. Only slight concern is that it eats batteries like they're popcorn. But other than that it is a phenomenal. Oh I might add one thing: an eye viewfinder so that when the light is to bright, outside, you could better see what you are trying to shoot.
Cons: Complicated controls/menu, Short battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

i got this camera b/c my husband looked it over and said it'd be a great purchase, a decent camera for casual pic-taking with friends. ive had this camera maybe one and a half years and never use it! it seems that my camera cant handle using the flash at all. ex:i take a pic at a wedding of the bride just starting to come down the aisle... if the flash is needed and goes off, by the time my cameras ready to take another pic they've already said "i do". no joke. its so frustrating and i miss fun moments ALWAYS! and forget battery life. its non existent!! i'll put re charged batteries in and not even 10 pics later my cameras dead. "her cheap batteries?" you may ask. no. i get great batteries, same ones my very pro photographer friend uses and loves! my husband didnt believe me one day and assumed i was the one with the problem, so he handed me brand new out of the pack batteries. 1 pic and my low batt lights flashing. ive never had this prob with another camera and wouldnt rec this one.
Pros: good pics
Cons: no battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
