I got this for Christmas and love it all my friends now ask me if I will take the pictures for them, I enjoy doning it and and happy with all the pictures I have taken
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Short battery life, flash takes to long

Love this camera

This camera is my 2nd digital. Last one only had 2 megapixels but it was purchased many years ago. The SX110 is so easy to use. Very user friendly with idiot-proof settings. It makes taking pictures enjoyable not tedious. Printing the pix from the memory card is so easy, too. A word of warning, buy the made-for-digital camera batteries. They last a lot longer than the regular batteries.

Even better than I expected. I had a PowerShot A 80 and wanted to upgrade to more MGA Pixels. I have other cameras in the past, including a Canon, but this one is by far thew BEST. NOTHING I dislike about it, so far. I have used it on a couple of vacations and have found nothing I could not do or wanted to do more. The 10X zoom is a big improvement from my last camera, and I would recommend this camera for anyone.

Canon has made a camera worth this price, good quailty and easy to use, has the 9mm feel but great digital picture, "for those who like the large camera feel"

POwerShot SX110 IS

I purchased the camera in December '08 and was rally surpirsed at the quality of the pictures. Even in low light the camera took great photos. Couple of items though: batteries don't last long and when taking pictures in low light with the flash it took some time before I could shoot another picture.
I would recommend the camera to anyone who enjoys taking pictures.
Pros: easy to use, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality
Cons: Short battery life

One Flaw Mars a Fine Camera

Bought this when my old Cannon 85 died after many great years of use. Love the quality of photos and the ease of use. I do not use many of the manual options and appreciate the auto functions.
Took it on vacation in Costa Rica. The camera's size and weight made it very easy to carry, and stick in a pocket if necessary. Unlike my friend lugging all is SLR equipment.
Had issues with the lag time of the flash resetting between shots. My travel companions kept telling me to hurry up. I think a third battery would help.
Pros: easy to use, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: lag between shots with flash.
