Basic Photographer's Dream

This camera takes phenomenal pictures. I have had people tell me that my photos look better than professionals and ask me what kind of camera I use. They are always very shocked when I tell them thats it is not an SLR. The zoom is amazing and the image stabilizer makes it easy to take sharp pictures both close up and from far away. The colors are bright and vivid. Cons are that it does eat up batteries very quickly and the manual setting are a bit difficult to use. I would have liked to have the option to take B/W and/or Sepia toned pics in a basic mode but those are only offered in manual settings. Overall, a fantastic purchase. Great for capturing just about any picture!! (Family friendly and easy to use too!)
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings, Short battery life, Heavy/Bulky
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great advanced camera. Tons more features and power than most point-and-shoots. Feature rich and a lot of settings to match any situation.
May be too complicated for a first-timer or novice, but advanced amateurs and pros will find it to be a great supplement when and SLR is simply too much camera.
Macro and low-light can be a bit sluggish to focus and the screen tends to get fine scratches easily. Otherwise no problems at all. Great camera.
Pros: Nice features/settings, durable
Cons: Complicated controls/menu

Nice Camera!

I got this camera a few weeks ago, and am still learning some of the features. However, it is easy to use right out the box. Takes nice sharp pictures. Lets you know when you need flash when taking indoor pictures when using auto mode. Really like the 10x zoom. The video movies are pretty clear for a digital camera. Nice change from the Quick Time format I had in my last digital camera. The only thing I am not wild about is the battery and the card being in the same area. I know they are doing that more now. The battery cover is a little hard to close at times, but I think I just have to get used to how it works. The battery life isn't too long, but I use rechargeable batteries so that helps alot.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Short battery life

I really like it because it is easy to use and great clarity.
My camera uses the AA Alkaline batteries and i'm a little disappointed that the batteries do not last longer. Also there are a lot of controls and menus.
Other than that, I really like this digital camera.
Pros: easy to use, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Complicated controls/menu, Short battery life

I wanted a camera that I could put in my pocket of my cargo shorts to shoot on a whim. The xti was not for me, Dont get me wrong I loved all the features and the great pics, but I need something smaller. The only problem with the sx110 is is I can not shoot in raw.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, durable
Cons: Missing features/settings
