Don't Buy

I purchased this expensive convection oven in February 2010 and it lasted only until August 2011. It just completely stopped working for no apparent reason. A complete waste of money for something that only lasts 18 months. Avoid at all costs.

I was given this oven for Christmas last year and have never been able to cook anything in it. First of all, I have updated outlets in my kitchen and the oven plug keeps popping out. I have even tried plugging it into a power bar. I am not able to read the controls. It's hit and miss. I put meat in, sit down in the other room and go back at the end of the respective time to eat my supper and the ovenn is cold. I have never used the rotisserie or convection options. The equipment also takes up half of my kitchen counter. Overall this has been a useless tool and I want to be rid of it;
Black and Decker always manufactured high quality products but over the last ten years the quality has gone downhill drastically. Personally I would never buy and B & D product.
Please let me know where I should send the equipment.

I do not like this Rotisserie Convection Oven

I do not like this rotisserie convection oven. The space between the chicken and the drip pan is too small for the rotisserie to turn. I have tried several times with 2-3 lb chickens and it would scuff on the drip pan. the chickens have been tied and actually wound with string.

The metal is a heat conductive material!...

The very only detail, but how significant, is about the handle... a metal handle.
This metallic handle has been directly fixed on the glass window, which is heating justly because of all the heat creating by the oven. So be being directly fixed on the glass, the metal just finished by being a real hot iron bar.
Results: if you don't use an oven mitten to remove your meal, you will just burn yourself. -__-
Other then that, it's effectively a surprising Rotisserie, very great for various meals!
I would recommend this to a friend!
