Working well so far

I got this a month ago, after another fridge was delivered damaged: we were replacing a 10 year old Electrolux. The shelving is functional--they've changed to more drawers and less shelves in the fridge side, and more space for cans in the door. The shelves do require that the door be fully open to fully extend. The controls are intuitive and work well and the freezer has adequate space for a side by side. The looks are good and so far, so good

We couldn't be happier with the quality of our new Electrolux double door refrig.
We entertain and our ice needs are meet consistently. Our friends love its looks--modern, sleek, very cool. No pun intended.

NEW RESIDENCE AND PURCHASED ELECTROLUX THROUGHT, TOP OF THE LINE, REFRIGERATOR, COOK STOVE WITH GAS TOP AND ELECTRIC OVEN, MICROWAVE, WINE COOLER. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WARRENTY SERVICE CALLS BUY THE PRODUCT, HOWEVER THEY DON'T STOP AFTER WARRENTY EXPIRES SO BE READY TO SHELL OUT THE CASH TO KEEP THEM RUNNING.

Overrated

I bought all new appliances when I remodeled my kitchen. I chose Electrolux because I was told it was high quality and worth the extra money it cost. I was very disappointed. The doors of my side by side are not even and it runs so loud people make comments about it.

Just a few flaws

The refrigerator is good but there are some nagging problems with it. Already twice the mechanism that pulls the drawer out has broken and it is getting very annoying. Plus the Chill Zone is not explained very well and certain items keep freezing in that drawer. One last small issue is the plastic wrapping covering the refrigerator when first opened, is very difficult to get off and still impossible to get all of the little pieces on the edges of the door.

Problems with inside doors

This unit has 3 draws, the top one would not work, it came off so many times and would not close. The repair man came once, twice, three times before getting it right. Each time they were replaced, it lasted 3 weeks and again the prolblem came back. Now after 3 months working its starting again. This is a very nice unit, but for the problems were having storing items. Why the doors don't pull out is a question I don't understand. There is very litler in each unit.
