Inadequate Instructions

This printer does great just printing out an e-mail, etc. I bought this basically to upload designs and save. Nowhere in the pamphlet I received with the printer does it tell you how to scan and save a document to your computer. No specifics given.....I prefer simplicity....and this printer is anything but simple and easy to operate. I give it a Zero rating.
Pros: Compact Design, durable, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Dull Tones & Colors, High Ink Consumption, instructions lacking
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simply Put . . . A Great Printer For The Money

Simply put, this is a very good printer for the money. Lots of nice features in the software, the orignial cartridge lasted longer than the other printers I have owned. It has seperate cartridges for color and black (nice) or you can only install only black if you so wish. The printing is quieter than most. The best, the print quality is great. Just loves it.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use, well laid out controls, overall design is very sleek

it looks like a nice printer, but i didn't know it doesn't come with a usb cable. i've never heard of a printer that doesn't include an essential piece like a cable to connect to a PC.
Pros: Compact Design, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Difficult Setup

It is very difficult to scan items; I couldn't get it to work. I've had many PSC machines before, and this is the first one that has defeated me; there are no places to send the scan. Also, it is really noisy, like machines from the dark ages. Mine was included in a package and I would never have used it if my other printers could be used with Vista. I'll be getting a new printer ASAP.
Pros: Easy Setup, Low Ink Consumption, reliable
Cons: Large Footprint, Difficult to use, hard to find ink

Very Entry Level Printer

First I must say that this is by far a budget unit and not designed to produce top of the line prints. It is for people who just need a very basic combo unit.
If you want an inexpensive multi function unit then this one is probably fine for you.
Its Very Slow at printing.
Takes time to get started.
If you are buying for kid in school or just need a Multi function printer to do down and dirty print/copy jobs, I guess this one would be OK for you.

NEEDED SCAN FUNCTION.UNIT DID NOT DO SO.HAD TO LOAD DISC MULTIPLE TIMES.WILL RETURN WHERE PURCHASED.

it cycles paper and printer for several seconds, and makes loud sounds, would not recommend for home use

The Printer Works

The printer goes through alot of LOUD things before it actually starts printing, but it then prints fast. I don't understand why everyone says it is compact, it is not, doesn't weight alot, but I don't want to carry it around, it's bigger then my last printer, and the preparation time before it starts printing is allot noisier and LONGER.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed
