Nice little printer

I was looking for a printer that would fit by my desk for occational printing. What I found was much more. Black ink and Color printing that is fairly quick. Quality of the print is very good. Machine is a little larger than I originally wanted but is a nice size. Scanning is easy and quick. I have not used it for photos but would imagine it would work well with fairly high quality. The price is right.
Working with the people of Canon was pleasant and the service and mailing was exceptional. I would highly reccommend buying Canon products to all of my friends and business associates.

Very forgiving

Great all in one tool. I use it while at work, in the truck, in the motel, at home, Forever un-hooking and re-hooking it up.
I even take it out of the truck after several days in cold weather, open it up in the motel for a few hrs to let it warm up, and then use it with great results.

LOUD!

I just bought the PIXMA MP240 today and so far I am not too happy. The main problem with this printer is that it never shuts up! You turn it on and it starts making these jerking noises and the cartridge starts sliding back and forth and readjusting.Then you go to print something and the thing in front slams open very loudly. The actual printing of the document is OK, comes fast enough. But then after the printing is over the cartridges start moving back and forth again and there is more jerking and sliding noises. This goes on for like 2 minutes. I can't believe that this is normal but the website says it is.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pictures print clearly,
very easy set up for us mac users,
everything works likes its supposed to, really like being able to print from the camera directly.

I've had this printer for about 6 months, and am totally satisfied with it. it's easy to use, and of good quality. before buying this printer I had 2 printers that were lousy, and lasted about 4 weeks (each). this one shines.

High Black Ink Consumption

I've gone through 2 black ink cartridges for far less pages than my old printer.
Bought this printer to replace the high cost of Ink cartridges for my old printer, and that my old desktop was starting to fail more. Needed printer for my laptops.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: High Ink Consumption

I am not very knowlegable about computers and printers and this product is so easy to set up and use that my 9 year old Grandaughter could do it.

Was Just Gonna Sell It! (Not Now!)

I have only been using this printer the last few days, but it is great. All my prints have been beautiful, my pictures turned out outstanding. The only thing I havn't tried is the scanner but with the progress of the way everything else has been going, Im not worried. The only thing I would have liked better would have been if it had the memory card ports! And a thing i dont know is how it is with ink, which i will update later. Its a great deal...
