This knife works very well. I had the same model for several years, and like others have said, the plastic body got a crack and I had a difficult time using. Decided to go with the same model so my old blades could still be used.

I bought this knife because the independent electric knife reviews I looked at on line said this was the best for the price, it got 5 stars. I thought the handle on first knife I bought got overly warm, almost hot, when I cut up a 10# ham with it. Also this handle didn't fit well in the display case. The space for the top is too low, so the handle doesn't clip into the case and is prone to fall out. So, I sent it back and ordered a replacement. The replacement works and fits the same way. So, I guess this is the way this knife is supposed to be. The blades work well and it cuts very well, but I feel there are design flaws that really need to be addressed.
