The knife works fine but the stand was put together backwards and my husband had to take it apart and reverse it and put it back together

This knife was a gift for Christmas 2017. This is my third knife and I haven't found one that cuts better; however, this knife will only last about a year before it stop working.

Only drawback is, I feel it gets Hot a lot quicker than I thought.

I have had this knife for about 4 months and it is the best knife I have used. I mostly use it for cutting homemade bread and it does a great job. It is also good for other foods. The best thing about it is the ergonomics, all other knives I have owned had the power button in an inconvenient location, this one is perfect for my hand..The stand that is included is very nice too .
