I owned an electric knife years ago and somehow in a move it was lost. I ordered the Cuisinart Electric Knife based on my long history with Cuisinart products. This knife is head and shoulders above my old one. I have only used it 3 times so far but with perfect results each time. Cubing and slicing bread, carving a turkey or a prime rib are child's play for this knife. If you are on the fence, get off it and purchase this knife. In my experience, if it wasn't great, it wouldn't have the name Cuisinart on it.
