This is a replacement for one that was 20 years old. It is very sharp, cuts through hot bread without crushing it and cuts meats without any problems

I bought an electric knife about 35 years ago(I think that's about when they first hit the market). I don't remember the brand but I do know that it was very noisy and I had trouble keeping the blade together when it was running. I put it in the trash about 34 years ago. I thought that I would give it another try during the 2017 winter holidays. What a Difference... I was truly impressed with the speed and the lack of noise and vibration while it was running. It was very easy to slice very thin slices which impressed me the most.

I have owned several electric knives in my lifetime. This is hands down the best knife I have ever owned. I cannot believe how thin I am able to slice a turkey breast using this. Love it!

The knife is easy to use and fits well in the hand. The blades are easy to insert and remove and works as expected. The wooden case was a nuisance however as it never stayed upright.
