I bought this originally to cut foam for a bench I was making. It cut the 4 inch foam easily and cleanly. Since then after cleaning it has been cutting my roast just as well.

Since I have issues with my arms and can’t really do much cutting, chopping these days, this knife come in very handy! I love it! It’s pretty sturdy. It has two sets of knives- one for bread and one for meat. I use them both for cutting up hard vegetables such as beets. I strongly recommend it
