I have arthritis and I was finding that cutting the roast was very painful. The meat knife did the trick and let me make attractive platters again. The Bread knife was a little too rough on my homemade soda breads. I haven't tried it on yeast bread yet. Do wish the cord was longer so I could bring it to the dinner table.

Nice knife, looks good if you have it out in the kitchen or patio. Nothing special as far as carving, works good but not the best one i have had or the worst one. I like it.
