This is a rugged, excellent-performing product which performs exactly as it should. The only suggestion I have is to improve the function of the support stand. The slot which receives the plastic support piece should be deeper. As it is, the support piece slips out.

It was a Christmas gift. I have several other Cuisinart items which I really like and wanted the electric knife to be Cuisinart as well. I like the lock feature and it cuts very smoothly.

received the electric carving knife as a Christmas gift.so far I really like it. I like the slim handle easy to handle when carving. i previously had a black and decker carving knife and the cord from being kinked when i took it out of the box only lasted 2 months before it kept on cutting out. had to hold the cord and knife in order for it to work.should of wrote to the company but...never did. so hoping with the name of Cuisinart. this one will last. i have trust.
