Use mostly so far for slicing bread and works great for that. Haven't yet used on a whole bird or roast. But cuts BBQ chicken breasts perfectly, thick or as thin as lunch meat.

Cannot be bested in precisely clean even cut in slicing fresh homemade bread. In particular, whole wheat pecan and mini sunflower seed bread! No ragged edges! Cuts cleanly through nuts and seeds perfectly. This tool has permanent real estate on my counter. Never in the drawer.
Needless to say it is essential for slicing turkey breast, brisket, meatloaf etc accurate thinly sliced baked ham....tomatoes cucumber..
Been using this knife for at least fifteen years! I recently gave my first one to a friend that was hosting his first Thanksgiving Dinner! Of course, I cannot be without one. Nothing has changed, it is still excellent.

This is my second Cuisinart knife. I love it. I am not a good meat carver but with knife I do a good job. Also , the bread blade is great for bagels as well as bread.
