I bought this to carve the Thanksgiving turkey. It worked great and came with a bread blade to. I did not think I would like the stand but is nice and slides out of the way.

We have had problems over the years with people either using the inexpensive (read cheap) electric knives in our kitchen or not being able to handle them. The control and excellent efficiency of this knife made some of our after Thanksgiving get togethers much better because there was no one saying bad things about the knife they were using.

I have had this one before; the first one stopped working with a few uses but was replaced by a new one to last about 7 years; this one has worked over several roasts and doing fine; cordless would be more convenient but the price for this one was good.
