I bought thids knife as a replacement for one I had for 15 years. I have always had an electric knife but until I used this one, I had no idea how different electric knives could be. Having different blades for bread and meat makes all the difference in the world. The bread blades make it easier to slice homemade bread into equal sized slices and the meat blades go through cooked meat so easily even a child could do it. I have recommended it to several friends.

I was given this at Christmas, and had used my moms before that. This knife is easy to use slicing through meat such as turkey or ham, or soft bread. It is also easy to assemble, disassemble, and clean. I also like the cutting board style storage rack that keeps everything neat and within reach when needed, while hiding the cord. It is the best knife that I have used, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for this type of kitchen gadget/tool/appliance.

I have only used it once and that was to slice baked bread. I can not cut even slices of anything with normal knives. But with this knife I cut even slices!! So easy to use and to change the blades.
