Cuisinart Electric Knife feels right size in my small hand, has a safety button that prevents it from starting until you are ready. 2 knifes, slices meat or bread and it slices Angel Food Cake into perfect slices too! The stand is handy,~attractive set, feels solid and well made. I used both knives last evening prepping my London Broil for jerky and finished with slicing a piece of my angel food cake. Cuts perfectly.

The knife has an ergonomic handle that makes it easy to slice meat with. The knives are very sharp so that roast slicing is very smooth lending itself for nice precise cuts of meat. The knife and blades are easily stored in the rack that comes with the knife. The knife comes with a safety feature which prevents the trigger from engaging until the safety is released.

I wanted an electric knife that I could use to slice loaves of crusty bread before freezing it. I live in a remote low population area where I can't get bread sliced at the store. The Cuisinart electric knife works well for that purpose -- my aging hands and muscles were really getting tired with slicing by hand. At this time I have not used the meat blade but will at some point.
I like the knife. The design of the wooden rack is a little off -- I am not strong enough to get the rubber cord on the handle into its slot so it sits in the rack a little cock-eyed but it doesn't fall out. (I'm much more mechanically capable than most women and a lot of men so it isn't that I can't figure it out -- it just doesn't fit without forcing it.)

received the electric carving knife as a Christmas gift.so far I really like it. I like the slim handle easy to handle when carving. i previously had a black and decker carving knife and the cord from being kinked when i took it out of the box only lasted 2 months before it kept on cutting out. had to hold the cord and knife in order for it to work.should of wrote to the company but...never did. so hoping with the name of Cuisinart. this one will last. i have trust.
