I bought this maker about 6 weeks ago and am thrilled with it! Set aside the fact that it's an extremely high quality unit, and it looks great on the counter, I love that I can now use pre-ground coffee or I can use my fresh beans!! My choice!! Sometimes I go back and forth with some ground coffee, then switch it up and maybe go to a flavored whole bean, and then back to ground coffee-whatever so I have "coffee options" based on my mood. It only grinds enough beans for the number of cups I select, so no wasting or grinding and then storing extra grounds. You can also set the strength of coffee you prefer! This unit is very easy to use and clean. I highly recommend it!!

Mother’s Day purchase! Coffee is tepid after 1 hour, cafe does not keep coffee hot. Brew indicator strength not true to manual. Grind features are not user friendly. Overall very unhappy with this purchase and this is my 5th Cusinart Coffee pot.

4 years of use. Leaking on resistence. Trying to get a response from Cuisinart support for more than a month without response. The leaking is not the problem but the lack of support...I would think a lot before buying another Cuisinart product.

We have owned 3 Grind and Brew Coffee Makers prior to this 4th and current one. It seems that we have to clean the chute where the coffe enters the filter basket on a weekly basis. This is far more frequently than the previous ones. At least once a week we get and error "beep" and the coffee maker interrupts the coffee making process and we must take the bean bin off and clean out the chute before we can get a cup of coffee. Based on the fact that we use the same beans we have always used (Starbucks) it would appear that the problem is the coffee maker. So disappointed because we have been loyal Grind and Brew owners for over 5 years.

I have had several Cuisinart grind and brew coffeemakers and I liked them all. The only drawback with this unit, and to be it is a big one, is that it does not have a hot plate beneath the pot, like my others did. It is a stainless steel thermal pot. I find that unless I fill it full of hot water to get it hot just before brewing, it only keeps the coffee hot for a few hours, like 2 hours. Preheating the pit before use extends that to 3-4, but preheating isn't an option if you want to use the built in to her to grind and brew whole your still in bed. Having to preheat the pot neabs the auto brew function is nearly worthless unless you like warm coffee.

I bought this less then a year ago and not 4 months into having it the coffee no longer drips after grinding it. It literally comes out a light brown weak weak weak coffee. It’s not even drinkable. I have since been using it without the grinder. I definitely need to call for a replacement but have not yet because I don’t want to be without a pot. Any advice?

While shopping for a replacement for our coffee maker, we came across a cuisinart. Since the name has always been well known and we’ve owned cuisinart products in th past, we decided to try it. We especially liked the bean grinder on the top. This height difference untortunately forced us to put the coffeemaker away from our coffee center. We really didn’t care for the coffee flavor we were getting. The water reservoir was a bit difficult to fill due to location of it. The top of the carafe was way too smart to allow you to fit your hand and sponge in it to clean it. Overall, not too happen with the coffee make.

We had one of the original Cuisinart grind and brew units for many years and loved it. We finally decided to upgrade to a new unit and I must admit I am disappointed. The grinding and brewing features work great but the coffee just does not seem to get as hot and maintain the heat like the old one. I find myself heating coffee in the microwave a few minutes after it was brewed. The old unit kept its heat much better.
