I have had other grind and brew coffee makers but love this one best. Love that you can fill up the bean holder and not touch it for about 4 full brews. Can adjust strength of coffee in 2 ways. Timer allows you to program when you want it to turn on so your coffee will be ready for you!!

Cuisinart Keeps Getting Coffee Machines Right

This is my third Cuisinart grinding coffee machine. The first two had a bean hopper for one cup at a time and required more cleaning between pots. This one stores a 1/2 lb in the hopper and needs cleaning weekly. The thermal pot keeps the coffee hot and fresh all day with no burning. The strength setting lets you choose the strength of the coffee. Great design, great coffee, great value.

I love coffee and there is definitely a flavor difference between buying pre-ground coffee and whole bean coffee that you grind yourself. I really like this coffee maker and especially the fact that it does grind coffee. My only complaint is that even at the weakest setting, the coffee (for me) is way to strong. I'm used to 3 large scoops/4 small scoops of ground coffee for a 12 cup coffee maker. I need to test how many scoops the coffee maker grinds for its lowest strength. So in the future I would suggest maybe one lower setting for strength.
