I had a Mr. Coffee programmable pot for the last 15 year and it finally decided that ‘I’m done’. A water distribution tube inside had nearly eroded away. I could possibly replace this tube as K had the unit all apart but decided to just Move On. Thanks to the MC pot, you served me well.
In came the Cuisinart Coffee maker. I really liked the Burr-Grind feature as that is what I used to grind my coffee previously. The coffee is great tasting and the unit is easy to clean/maintain. Looking forward to another 15+ years.

Good product. It takes some time to get the product dialed in to the taste that you prefer for your coffee but once you do it is very consistent every time. Only thing that may be needed to consider is how to keep the coffee warm for 3-4 hours after the initial brew.

Thermal Pot is great, but hard to pour

I had the normal Burr Grind & Brew with the clear glass pitcher. It worked great, but if I left the machine on for too long, it made the coffee tase burnt. So, I decided to try the thermal model. The coffee tasted good, and stayed warm for a reasonable amount of time, but .... the pot is so thick you almost have to turn it upside down to pour. It is hard to empty, impossible to see how much coffee is left, and if you take the cover off it pours all over the place (very wide stream). I returned in and bought the model with the clear glass pot, so I could see and pour into the cup instead of all over the counter....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Coffee Maker, Not a fan of the Carafe

My husband and I were so excited to have a coffee maker that ground the beans fresh for each pot. While we love the coffee maker, our one big complaint is the thermal carafe. It leaks EVERY time we pour coffee out of it. It also does not keep our coffee as hot as we would like it. Other than that, we enjoy our freshly ground coffee.

Not worth the money!
I would not recommend this product to anyone. The coffemaker takes over 15 to 20 minutes to brew. The grinder barely grinds any beans. Most of the time it does not work. It is too much money to waste. The basket does not shut properly and the bean residue gets stuck in other parts of the coffee maker.
