This is our 2nd unit - 1st one lasted 15 years. Can see several improvements. Our original unit would grind and brew coffee a little weak for the setting and we would have to go up one on the dial. The new unit does a better job and we don't have to adjust any more. Also the grind chute has been improved and this has gotten ridden of compacting issues with long term use. Pricey but worth it for a great cup of coffee as fresh as you can get with very little effort.

Overall it is great!! It is a little pricey for how loud it is. Then the grinds build up and the thermos does slightly drip plus is hard to empty. Otherwise it is great and no major issues

Coffee maker does not heat the water hot enough to keep the coffee drinkable for more than 5 minutes in the insulated carafe. The resting pad does not operates after brewing because it will damage the insulated carafe. Do not buy this coffee maker if you like hot coffee.

Some really great features, but one major flaw. The 24-hour timer is really nice and I love the stainless steel pot. The "burr" grinder is the best type to use. However, the slope of the area that holds the beans is not steep enough to consistently feed beans into the grinder portion. Sometimes beans flow nicely and other times they don't. And flavored beans with any kind of oils on them or dampness won't feed at all. The slope of the bean bin needs to be much much steeper. Good coffee is made by "consistently" using the right amount of coffee with the right amount of water. However, because this machine can't consistently grind the same amount of beans each time many cups are too weak or too strong meaning this item simply can't make good coffee.

It has changed my opinion of drinking coffee to the enjoyment and not just used to wake up. It brews a clean tasting coffee and takes out the bitterness compare to my prior coffee machines.

Fantastic, Burr, Grind and Brew all-in-one machine. Provides the flexibility to also use already ground coffee. Is programmable allowing one to wake up to a freshly brewed coffee. Comes with gold filter to spare the use of paper filters. Easy to clean. Thermal can keeps coffee hot/warm for hours. For us a repeat purchase. First machine lasted 7 years.
