I bought this a month ago to replace breville grind and brew. The cuisinart grind and brew does what it is asked. I brew coffee at 4:15 am and wife gets up a few hours later and the pot of coffee is cold. She has to microwave her cup up to get it hot. It needs a better insulated pot. Our old breville pot was double insulated and would keep coffee hot till really late in the day and was still warm the next morning

I bought my coffee maker for Christmas. I am really happy with it. I like the burr grinder. It is easy to program. It makes excellent coffee. Either from beans or from ground coffee. I really like having my coffee made when I get up in the morning. I was considering a much more expensive machine when I read the reviews of the one. I am very glad I choice this one. The only negative if the carafe. It is very awkward to pour from it. I do sometimes preheat it so the coffee will stay hotter. I only make small pots and I feel like that could contribute. Very, very pleased.

I am a survivor of about 4 short-lived, environmentally wicked pod coffee-makers. The Cuisinart Burr Grind & Brew is a delight by comparison. As other reviewers mentioned, there are quite a few parts to wash after each brew, but it is a labor of love. My only dissatisfaction is with the thermal pot. One has to tip the pot almost upsidedown for anything to pour out. I remove the lid to fill my mug more quickly. The carafe's shape makes it impossible to completely empty the pot. Nevertheless, I prefer the thermal to a glass pot and warmer tray.

This is our third Burr grind and brew. We love how it grinds the beans, how the hopper holds enough beans for a few days, and how the coffee tastes. The only thing is the coffee brewer develops a leak in the heat tube underneath after about 2 years. Both of the previous ones have developed a leak in the same part, in about the same time. You can't fix it. That is the only bad thing about this product, other than that we love it.

Purchased our first one about ten years ago and it just wore out. Making two to three pots of coffee every day, 7 days a week. Just purchased a new one and love it.
