G&B Forever

This is probably my 3rd or 4th grind and brew. Love the thermal pot and not have to worry about a hot pad - leftover coffee is sometimes still warm the next morning. The price is reasonable and I haven't really seen any comparable competition at this price point. I do wish there was a way to avoid grounds build-up in the chute, but that's probably my only criticism of this appliance.

Had a Breville that started leaking, decided to replace it with this. Love it! Has almost all the features of the Breville, is easier to clean and makes better coffee. Would have given it 5 stars, but there's no adjustment for how much water to use as you make a pot. So in other words, whatever water is in the well, will be used for your brew, regardless of how many cups you tell it you're brewing. You need to add the right amount of water each time you brew. Other than that, it's perfect!

Burr and grind thermal

I find the coffee pot to be very heavy. There are no water level lines inside the pot you have to look on side of pot while pouring water to know how much you are filling- difficult to pour water inside pot for a left handed person- definitely a pot for right handed people. The big plus is the coffee is delicious!

The coffeemaker works fine however the carafe requires extra small hands to clean the insides and the lip on the spout needs to be redesigned to allow easier pouring.

Love the automatic setting and the ability to control the strength of the coffee although it does not automatically adjust the ratio of strength to amount of water if you do not utilize all 12 cups.

This product is good. However, we experienced a glitch in the grind sysyem. We chose strong/6 cups. The grinder took an extreme amount of beans. The coffee was too strong. Excessively strong. This happened twice. We have unplugged the unit hoping it reset itself. We have not used the grinder since. The total amount of beans used was a quarter of a small bag of beans. Prior, the grind operated normally.
