Replaced my workhorse which ground coffee for us daily for over 10 years. Improvements are wider pour spout so it doesn’t drip and metal (instead of black plastic) chute. Easier to clean. Quieter. We loved freshly ground coffee and are not K-cup people. This is the only coffee maker that has all the features we want, including the metal insulated pot to keep coffee warm and not break. Happy Cuisinart still makes this!

We just love our coffee maker. This is a replacement of the same coffee maker. Once you figure out the settings and coffee to water ratio you prefer for your perfect cup of coffee, you're set and it's automatic from there on out. For example, we fill it with water to the 8 cup line and set the ground for 12 cups and it's a perfect cup of coffee.

This is my second Grind & Brew Thermal coffeemaker. The new model has a number of tweaks that improve on its function. The coffee chute has been reconfigured and, as a result, requires less frequent cleaning. The hopper is larger, so it needs to be refilled less often. Finally, the carafe spout is larger, resulting in a faster pour. Otherwise, this is still the same excellent coffeemaker as my first. It makes an excellent cup of coffee, largely because of the variety of settings which allow me to tweak it just the way I like it. It brews a full pot in a bit less than 10 minutes, and the coffee stays hot in the thermal carafe for at least 4-6 hours. (None of that burned coffee taste from a glass carafe on a hot plate.) This coffeemaker has a bit of a learning curve but once you master it, you’ll love the coffeemaker and the coffee you’ll be drinking.

We bought this grind and brew to replace our previous cuisinart grind and brew. We are very happy with the new machine! We like the fact that it can brew 12 cups and has the ability to regulate strength. Also like that it can hold up to ½ pound of beans at a time. We have had this machine for 3 weeks and love it! We have already recommended it to our daughter and son in law and now they own one also!
