I’v Had this machine for about a month and I love it. The grinder is quieter than my old Capresso machine and the coffee tastes great. I only gave it 4 stars because of the display. It is not backlit and is somewhat difficult to see. Otherwise I love it.

This is my 3rd Grind & Brew coffee maker and I love it! I drink my coffee black because I love the flavor and this coffee maker brews the most flavorful cup of coffee no matter what coffee beans I use. This is my coffee maker for the rest of my life.

I bought this machine as a replacement for my 10 yr old previous Grind and Brew. I researched other brands and concluded none had the features that this machine does. My complaint with my old machine was the drippy carafe which is largely solved with a new design.

I really like this unit/model. I love the hopper, the carafe, the grinder. Understand that you'll need to maintain this thing for it to work properly. That mean breaking it down every week to three weeks depending on frequency of usage. The grinder is noisy so don't expect this thing to hum quietly, but what grinder is actually quiet? Consistent, good coffee comes from this unit. I love it, just understand that auto grind and brew coffee makers have more maintenance than a standard drip coffee maker.

This was a replacement for a Cusinart grind and brew that died. It is also an upgrade since it has a thermal carafe. I love the taste of the coffe using freshly ground beans. Even when I use the grind off function, it produces good coffee. My only two criticisms are in regard to the design of the thermal carafe. It is hard to tell how much water to add since there are no markings inside the pot. But after a few uses, I've got that figured out. It would be nice to either mark the pot inside or have a glass window like on the machine to see the water level inside the pot. The other comment is how the pot pours. It is awkward to pour the last few ounces out of the pot. I almost have to turn it completely upside down in order to empty it. But it doesn't keep the coffee warm all day.
