I used my previous Burr Grind & Brew Thermal™ 12 Cup Automatic machine for a little over 4 years. It began having intermittent problems with water pumping, so I shopped around for a replacement. I couldn't find anything I preferred over what I had, so I purchased another just like it to replace it.

I bought this coffee maker to replace a different Cuisinart model. I struggled with my decision over whether to get this or a percolator, because I love percolated coffee. I decided to five the new Grind & Brew a try. I love it so much that I bought one for my son and daughter in law. I had a Grind & Brew years ago and loved the coffee but it was a lot of work. This new model with the coffee hoppper is amazing, and makes the process so easy. All I do is add my filtered water and push a button in the morning. I love that fresh coffee smell as the beans are crushed. No more measuring, no more paper filters to mess with. And cleaning this one is so much easier than the older version. The coffee tastes great, and I love the thermal pot so that I never need to remember to turn off the coffee pot. If I am making a full pot, I pour hot water into the thermal carafe to warm it. I empty that into the sink and use it to wash the basket, etc after the coffee is done. The coffee stays hot for hours. It’s pricey but totally worth every dime. The clock could be brighter, but I don’t program the machine because I like to use cold, filtered water and it only takes a minute to add. It’s a great investment if you love good, fresh coffee.

We’ve had a Cuisinart coffee maker for over 14 years now. It has been a reliable kitchen aid with a great option of brewing strength. My only complaint with this model is that it’s hard to get the last bit of coffee out of the carafe. I can’t imagine going back to grinding my coffee separate and then start to brew.

Bought it about a month ago and it makes good coffee. A few things that we don't like. It's really loud when it's grinding the coffee. It's hard to get all the coffee out of the coffee pot.

I bought this model after much review and contemplation...it is an update for the older Cuisinart blade grind and brew 10 cup thermal coffee maker I previously owned. Cuisinart quality is excellent. This coffee maker makes a superb cup of coffee and I really like the 1/2 pound whole bean dispenser on top!!!
