The coffee carafe pour spout needs to be fixed. It drips and spits coffee so that cleanup is required. If this problem can be eliminated, it would rate 5+ stars.

Got this to replace our last 12 cup Cuisinart with the thermal carafe. We decided to upgrade to one with a grinder. I like most of the features. You can choose strength of brew or tourn the grinder off if you have ground coffee to use. Here’s what I wish. I wish the old thermal pot had a bigger opening so it was easier to clean. The new model has a thermal carafe and although it has a bigger opening it could still be bigger yet. I’d like to be able to scrub out the inside. The new one does not keep coffee as hot or for nearly as long either so I find myself using the old carafe after the coffe has brewed if I need to keep it hot for awhile. There should be a way to incorporate the beat features of both into one.

I have been looking to replace our ten-cup Cuisinart thermal coffee pot and grinder. This was one of the few options out there that offers the thermal carafe and built in grinder. It is a twelve-cup. Which means we can program it to go off at 4 a.m.for my husband's work thermos and still have some for me two hours later. It is louder than the previous model and the hopper is awkward to get used to and to be sure is latched in place.

Overall I really enjoy my Cusinart coffee maker. I don’t think it keeps the coffee as hot as it claims to for as long as it claims to in fact it gets cold pretty quickly. That is the only downfall and one that I’m disappointed with.

My partner and I bought this over a month ago and I use it daily. I grind the coffee at night because the grinder is pretty loud and will wake everyone else in the house if I choose to grind the beans in the morning. There isn't a set feature to grind the beans before you are ready to actually make a pot of coffee. I hit the 'On' button and wait till the grinder is done then turn the machine off before it begins to brew. The 'Program' (timer) feature is nice, you can use that with ground coffee or the beans. It does have an feature that reminds you put all the parts back on before brewing (craft lid, filter basket and lid). It will even beep to remind you to clean the old grounds if the machine 'thinks' you haven't changed/removed the old grounds.. Which isn't such a nice feature because often it won't stop beeping even if I have removed and replaced the filter basket. I've had to resort to unplugging the machine on occasion to stop it from beeping. I was a bit disappointed to learn after purchase that it doesn't continue to heat the craft/coffee after brewing. I would like to have the option to keep it heated for at least a couple of hours maybe that option comes in different models. I'm also disappointed in the heat retention of the craft.
