I had a Cuisinart DCC 700, which I really enjoyed. However the burner suddenly went out and I decided to get the DGB 900, and it works well. However, I don't like the fact that I have to fill the carafe with hot water, before brewing. The burner turns off when it finishes brewing, so it doesn't get a chance to warm the carafe. If I don't warm the carafe the coffee doesn't stay hot. If this one quits working I will go back to the 700 series equivalent.

Love this product and have had fewer issues with this than the Breville. The only thing that could be improved would be to have a grind option. It has only one grind and it seems to a really fine one verses my favorite which is course.

We love our Cuisinart coffee maker. Having the choice to make fresh ground coffee or to use pre-ground coffee is great. The stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot and fresh for hours. This is a great product.

I was hoping this would be an awesome coffee pot but I don't feel it is. I wish it had a better setup for auto brew, it grinds too much coffee in the filter not enough adjustments for brew strength and it's a bit of a pain when you want 5o brew already ground coffee.
