We owned this model for years and used it every day. One day it just stopped working, so we ordered a new one. We absolutely love it. This newer model has a couple of minor, but welcomed improvements. There is now a notification when it is time to clean out the feed chute. There are also some different materials used in that area which prevent the occasional clogging we experienced in the previous model.

We get our coffee from a local business that roasts the beans himself. We get the beans a couple of days after they come out of his roaster. That combined with this coffee maker gives us the best coffee we have ever had anywhere!! Prior to this unit we had the cheaper model with a blade grinder. This unit has the burr grinder and the carafe that is thermal. Coffee is very hot and stays that way for hours. Ours sprung a leak after a year and a half, and it was covered under warranty. We had to pay shipping in both directions, but got a new unit. Great coffee maker!! If you like great coffee get one!!

This Coffeemaker was more than I needed. I bought it for the Thermal, but it doesn't keep the coffee hot. I should have bought the smaller one with the glass pot. I also do not like the way you have to clean the coffee chute.

Purchased a year and a half ago. 2 have broken down for different reasons. I am on my 3rd grinder/coffee pot. Cleaned chute weekly and ran vinegar through it monthly.

We received a grind and brew 11 years ago for our wedding and loved it so much. It finally bit the dust and we purchased this new model which is AMAZING! The bean hopper is so convienent so you do not have to measure out beans, also cleaning is a since, and the thermal carafe keep coffee hot for hours! My husband and I are ex baristas and are very picky about our coffee and this does not disappoint.
