I find the main objection I have is that it is difficult to pour the last 0n2 0r two cups of coffee out of the dispenser. I is also difficult to clean the pot without a brush.

I bought this to replace my old coffee maker. I like that you dont need a special grinder for the beans. Thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot.

This is our second purchase of the Grid & Brew coffee maker. After 8 years and thousands of pots of coffee the original had served us well. We never considered looking at another brand. Now we have two thermal pots, so when we have large family gatherings no one has to wait for a pot to brew for their cup of Joe :)

The unit worked great EXCEPT it somehow dumped coffee grounds all over my counter every time it ground and brewed coffee! Was also quite noisy while grinding and would wake us up in the morning. Also, cleanup was a bit of a chore, but required per manufacturer.

I love that I can store the beans and set a time for fresh grind and brew! I love everything about this coffeemaker except the temperature of the coffee. When first brewed it is just barely hot enough. It is more than warm but not steamy. The carafe does not keep it warm for very long at all. That was a big disappointment. I have to microwave.
