This is my third Grind and Brew Coffeemaker. Went for the one with all the special features this time. Very disappointed in the bean reservoir. I find it uses too many beans and coffee is too strong. Went back to measuring for every pot. Also after a month of use the carafe started leaking and I needed to get a replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this product to replace an earlier model that died. I love the thermal caraf. It keep the coffee hot for several hours with out cooking it so the last cup tastes as good as the first cup. The new shute on the grider is wider and much easier to clean. I highly recommend this unit for its ease of use and coffee quality.

I love a grind and brew machine and the burr grinder with this machine seems to do a good job. The only thing is the cleaning procedure can be a bit difficult as it is not easy to get to the places I need to clean out. I clean my machine at least once a week and can see it would be a problem if the machine is not cleaned regularly.
As far as the coffee, I love the freshness of the brew and think the taste is very nice. I use mine daily.

I bought this a while back to replace another model. I am Happy with the burr grind. It is a much more even grind than the others. I did have to play with the brew strength. Coffee was much stronger than I prefer. Overall I really like this machine!
