I had a Cuisinart 10 cup Grind and Brew for 13 years. I was very impressed with the product. I decided to buy the Grind and Brew but in a 12 cup. I am extremely disappointed for the cost of the product. Because the machine decides how strong instead of measuring yourself it is never the same cup of coffee. The machine after three/four uses gets clogged and only brews hot water, no coffee. It is a terrible product!

I bought this after my Grind and Brew stopped working and it is so much easier to manage. It saves so much time because I don't have to clean the grinder every day. I just rinse out the carafe and basket each day then clean the coffee chute only when I refill the beans. It took a few tries to know which settings to use for coffee strength but we love it! I think we're using fewer beans now because the coffee is so much richer with the burr grinder. I totally recommend it.

I don’t think there is a coffee pot on the market that makes any better coffee . The problem is the temperature of the coffee is not very hot . I like hot coffee and this is not hot.

My sister in-laws had given us one when we moved to a new house. It was the best coffee ever. Years went by and we needed a new one. We searched and found it. It is the best coffee maker out there. It stays hot for my husband and myself differnts schedule, always tests fresh and is aromatic every cup.

Bought about four months ago and still satisfied. Only issue is the cleaning. After the recommended 7 uses lots of ground coffee to remove. Never could set the clock.Sound that process complete hard to hear.

The thermal carafe does not keep coffee hot enough after 3-4 hours. This unit requires cleaning after all beans are used from the top feeder and before it's refilled. Cleaning involves removing the feeder and using the included brush/cup tool to completely remove the residual grinds which build up in the chute between the grinder and the coffee basket. If this is not done on a regular basis the chute will clog completely. The burr grinder is not adjustable; only one grind is available. The strength is adjustable by the length of time it grinds beans to feed the basket. The sound from the beeper which lets one know when the coffee is brewed and ready is hardly noticeable and should be much louder. The bottom line is that it makes a very good cup of coffee and if all the refinements are made, this will be a 5 star rating.

This is my third Cuisinart 12 cup grind and brew coffee maker. Before I had the 10 cup Cuisinart. I love coffee and I love to grind my own beans for that absolutely fresh taste. I love the fact that the coffeemaker grinds the beans without the extra mess of grinding in another machine. It does it all. We gave our daughter one for a wedding gift and it is still doing great after almost 5 years. Keep up the great work Cuisinart and I will continue to buy this coffeemaker.
