I've been using this coffee maker for almost a year and LOVE it!! It's so convenient to just fill the hopper with beans and not have to worry about measuring the beans for each pot - this coffee maker does it for you, based on your settings when setting up the unit.

This is a great all-in-one machine. Best features are the burr grinder and insulated Carafe that keeps coffee warm without burning it. The draw back, and it is significant, is the poor design of the coffee basket. It should have been a cone filtered basket and not a flat bottom. Everyone knows a cone style filter basked makes a much more rich taste brew with less grounds needed. The result as this machine is designed, is that the coffee is much weaker even with the strongest setting and less flavorful. A huge miss by Cusinart!

The first one I bought lasted 6 years. I loved that one. I recently bought a new one. Everything that could have been upgraded was. This one is perfect!!

This is my third coffee pot because the first ones had issues. The first one arrived with a broken stem on the coffee basket. The second pot had more issues. First, sometime after the brew was complete all I had was hot water, the carafe leaked and it did not keep the coffe hot for very long. Finally, the third pot arrived and it has not had any of those issues and I love it. The third time was the charm.

I have had good luck with these machines. It’s pretty easy to freshly brew coffee every day. Being able to add enough brews for 3 or 4 pots is a big plus.

I love the ability to grind fresh beans and brew great coffee, and this it does, and very well. There, though, are three persistent problems, two minor and one serious. It is not easy to clean the grinder and this needs to be done daily-it should be more accessible. The water level lines are nearly invisible and awkwardly positioned at the back so simply can’t see what water you have in. The serious problem is the durability of the drip components, so, despite buying vey expensive replacements, about every 5 years you simply have to throw one out and buy another.
