The only issue I have is the brew strength with the beans. You put it on strong brew and it doesnt really have the strength of strong coffee. And yes I keep it cleaned out with the brush that came with it. I guess I will try espresso beans to see if there is a difference. To be updated The awesome part about the coffee pot / is the pot itself. I can fill it full and go to pour coffee, water and it doesn't drip out of the pot at all or leak down the side like most coffee pots do.

IF? you LOVE coffee this GRIND and BREW THERMAL is the best coffee maker you will buy, again and again as I have.I think each one I have had was 4-5 years old still working..... Just wanted a new one. I have talked other friends to buy one. I feel THERMAL is a important part. set the auto for 5am it is still fresh at 8am, 9am, 10am so many different beans to try................

This is my second Burr grind and Brew maker. We wore the other one out after 7 yrs. If your looking for a quiet grinder, this is not it but if you want great tasting coffee I recommend this one.

The ONE thing that I do NOT like about this model—- I thane to bring it out from it’s stationary place to the front of the counter to fill the water tank! It’s a great hassle. With this model I’m turning two directions out from under the cabinets!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes GREAT coffee, but the stainless steel receptacle does not keep the coffee very hot. The glass receptacle, that is at our summer home, is much better.
