Features without the price

We wanted a TV we could view from the side, with a high refresh rate, was good in bright light, and that would fit it in our 42" wide TV cabinet. This TV was the only TV on the market I could find to meet those criteria, and I am really glad I found it.
I wish it was 1080p, but you can't really tell the difference unless you're 3 feet away.
Its easy to set up, and I get internet TV by hooking it through HDMI to my internet enabled Blu-Ray.
All in all, a great value.

Surprised by the ease of set-up, perfect size and clarity. Very pleased with the remarkable, realistic colors and the picture seems to transport you into the scenery on the nature shows.

This LG plasma is my first HD TV and I couldn't be more delighted with the fantastic picture, great sound and ease of setting it up and selecting the choices of pictures and sound. It is a tremendous value and am so glad I made this purchase. Instead of just watching movies and games I feel like I'm right there. AWESOME.

I cannot tell you how much we are enjoying our plasma TV!!! Even our kitten enjoys watching it. It is so easy to program and use. The picture is so crisp and the sound is far superior to other tv's I've had. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an affordable, top notch TV. Keep up the good work!!!! Oh and the online support and tips are a fantastic added bonus.

We love this Plasma TV. We needed a new TV in the basement and because it is dark down there we have no issue with any reflection. The 20 degree pan on the stand works awesome.

We replaced an older 50 inch LG Plasma tv that could be used as a space heater in a small room with a 42 inch LG plasma that runs much cooler and costs a lot less to run. We chose plasma because of the high refresh rate and good viewing angle. My eyes are more sensitive to motion blur at lower refresh rates. The 42 inch doesn't show the finer detail that the 50 inch did but is still excellent. Receiver sensitivity is excellent which we needed because we use an outside antenna. Sound is good but would be better with a sound bar. Would like to be able to fine tune a little better for a more crisp picture. Some people like the smooth look but I like detail. Detail in this tv is good but a little more ability for user tweaking (fine tuning)would be nice. Inputs are enough for us but evaluate your needs before buying. If you have the money (we didn't) go for the 50 inch. We are satisfied with and would recommend this tv.

I got this TV for my bedroom only because I had bought a larger one for my living room first, also an LG. The LG was really easy to set up and their support was easier to deal with then some of the other manufacturers.
Pros: easy to use, Quality
