Pedestal drawers look good and store plenty of stuff. The latch is plastic and broke but 2 year warranty took care of it free of charge

Bought 2 Pedestals 1 each for washer/dryer. After 11 and 13 months, BOTH spring mechanisms broke causing drawer to stay open. Am now spending hours trying to learn how to fix. AWFUL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So disappointed- latches on both pedestals broke!

The washer, dryer and pedestals were purchased in late 2015 and BOTH pedestal latches have broken. This means the drawers wont't close. Where is the quality control??

Please refer to the last page on your Owner’s Manual, that states your pedestals come with a 2 year warranty. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product EP2D15T in January 2015 and by April of this year the latch no longer works. From the reviews this seems to. Be a common issue. How do I get it repaired. ItI is a shame that a $250 pedestal would be so unreliable

Uh oh, Garyg! I regret to hear that your pedestal drawer is not latching. The part number for the replacement strike, which is the male connector part, is 137006900, and the cost is $5.47, plus tax. The part number for the replacement latch, which is the female connector part, is 137006200, and the cost is $37.15, plus tax. Fantastic design

We really love the pedestals under our front load washer and dryer. They elevate the appliances to the perfect height for adding and removing clothes, in addition to storing items often used but not needed sitting around for a child to grab. I think they are brilliantly built and an awesome product.

When purchasing my Electrolux washer, I decided to buy the pedestal so I did not have to bend down when taking clothes in and out of my new washer. I feel even though I paid extra for the pedestal, it was a good purchase. I used the drawer for storage and it works out well.

I absolutely love my pedestals, they work very well for organization. And I love the height it gives my washer/dryer. My favorite part is that I don't need my hands to open it!!!
