So disappointed- latches on both pedestals broke!

The washer, dryer and pedestals were purchased in late 2015 and BOTH pedestal latches have broken. This means the drawers wont't close. Where is the quality control??

Oh no! Caroline in Charlotte, I can only imagine how frustrating both latches breaking can be. Please refer to the last page on your Owner’s Manual, that states your pedestals come with a 2 year warranty. Please reconnect with us directly for assistance by calling Mon-Fri, 8a-8p EST or Saturday 9a-6p @ 1-877-4ELECTROLUX (1-877-435-3287). Pedestal ruins downward venting low clearance opti

Just bought 617 series front load washer dryer and matching pedestals. Didn't know pedestal restricts clearance on dryer vent, I.e. Vent can no not be installed 90 deg straight down. Not happy. Are we missing something or is this a design flaw?

POOR QUALITY

Bought 2 Pedestals 1 each for washer/dryer. After 11 and 13 months, BOTH spring mechanisms broke causing drawer to stay open. Am now spending hours trying to learn how to fix. AWFUL.

Roomy & easy to operate

I was actually almost not going to purchase the pedestal drawers , but did after my brother's strong recommendation - and SO glad I did. They are VERY roomy and although I've filled them with various liquid detergents and supplies of substantial weight , they open and close easily with a touch of my foot. The other advantage is laundry supplies out of sight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought them about six months ago. Very easy to open, sliding is very smooth. Very easy to reach all the way to the back of the drawer. Love them!

I bought this pedestal and within 2 years the door wont stay shut. The latch is broken and now I am looking for the part.
