I started with a canon powershot with my first child. By the time i had my second i knew i needed a better camera. The Rebel XS is perfect for us!!! I cant wait to learn more about how to use it now!!!
Pros: excellent image quality, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, good battery life

Canon EOS XTI Camera is easy to use with the full auto (sports mode) on you won't miss a shot . 3.5 frams a sec. makes all the photos clear you will be in a mazement of how Great your Photos turn out, Its true on being easy,Fast,Crisp Photos my 6 year old uses it to take photos and he gets a Great Shot every time, This Camera is a Excellent Value for your money and its built to last!!

Great Camera!

I purchased this camera for my vacation to capture those memorable moments. I was extremely suprised and happy that the easy read of the instruction manual made learning easy to operate and maximize the full potential of this awesome camera. I would recommend this to any novice or beginner photographer to have in their collection. I am so pleased, I am purchasing another zoom lens to add to my rapidly growing collection.

So Far So Good

To this point in time, I have found the Xs to perform exactly as expected and described. As I have had my camera for only a little over a month, I have more situations in which to test it. There is no reason to believe it will not come through with flying colors.
I would like to see a case offered that would afford some protection to the camera. I'm not totally comfortable with it being so "naked".

Wow what a nice camera. easy to use and takes great pictures. manual settings are easy to work with. takes great shots with and without a tripod.

Nice light camera, used it for wedding photos, bring back up battery! Takes beautiful pictures, just wish zoom lenses came with a package deal!
