Still learning

Still learning all the possiblities that DSLR cameras have and the features. So far very pleased by the shots it produces. Little disappointed that accessories are a little bit more expensive than I antiicpated based upon research - and am disappointed too, that , there is no wireless remote for my model.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Dim LCD, Complicated controls/menu
I would recommend this to a friend!

after having it a little over a month its been back to the factory two times now.for the same problem.
Pros: Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Shaky operation, Poor build quality, noisy, Short battery life, its junk

Had this camera for 2 years but only used it a few times. Now it doesn't turn on. I've bought a new battery and still nothing. Not a good experience for my first DSLR and I will not be replacing it with a Canon.
Cons: doesn't turn on, short product life

This thing is like 5 lbs. You have to hold the button down for atleast three sec. before it takes a picture. If you moved AT ALL the image was blurry. sometimes wont take a picture.
worst purchase of my life... NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD
Cons: Poor build quality, Complicated controls/menu, Missing features/settings, noisy, Slow Start-up time, Difficult to use, Heavy/Bulky, Short battery life, only view thru viewfinder

I have easy time learning how ues the canon. When I was ueing in the grand canyon i did not have keep put in ithe cameras

Im a beggining person at photograhpy (this is my first SLR camera) but it is worth it!

Good Camera for the price

I really like the camera I am a novice slowly learning the camera. I cant take very good pics a night even with a high ISO. The Pic quality is good but I would get a new lens for it, it doen't give you a lot of creative freedom. Overall I am very satisfied.
Pros: Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, easy to use, good battery life

I bought this camera for my husband. I figured sense I was spending so much, it would include video. But to my shame, it did not. We didn't realize it until 2 months later when we were trying to take a video of our children. I ended up using my cell phone instead of this expensive camera. All other features work great... it takes great picutres... but I didn't read the fine print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
