Great Camera for Price

I bought this camera not to long ago and I love it. I use it a lot and try not to leave the house without it. I've used it for shooting things like flowers to my friend riding his CBR1000RR and they all come out great.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Quick Start-up time, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life
Cons: noisy
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first digital camera and it's great. I bought it prior to going on my Vegas vacation so I needed to learn quickly how to use it. I found it easy to learn. I was so excited to see the quality of the pictures. I wanted to have the ability of auto focus as well as creating my own pictures with manual settings and it has both. All the features give opportunities for many different types of pictures. I highly recommend this camera.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life
Cons: there aren't any cons that i have noticed.

Great Starter SLR

I used Canon SLR's Specifically the AE-1 Program and the AV-1 Purchased in the earley '80's and they still work great today unfortunately, times change and the age of digital had arrived so I decided for my first SLR/Digital I would go to the company I had trusted. I was happy from the first time I used it and like the "old progam" you are able to take great pictures as a beginer and advance your talents easily with this camera. The lenses work great with a great selection to choose from. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to get into SLR/Digital.
Pros: excellent image quality, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life

NO NOISE!!!!

I just replaced my "hand me down" 10D with this camera.
I am absolutely amazed by the lack of noise. I am sort of cloud obsessed, and shoot a lot at sunrise and nearly dark. I've never had a camera with so little noise in darker areas. I also like the 18-55 lens that came with it. I'm elderly and somewhat inflexible as far as price goes, and this one fit my price range and I'm very happy with it. I'm just a hobbyist, but shoot a bit for my state's website, and this camera will be just the thing for me.

For my first exprience with my camera was at my family reunion with all the others camera I had this by far the best ; we had a professional there take pics. and I showed my pics to the family and they all said we don't need to hire another pro to take the pics we will let you take them from now on thanks CANON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this camera! I'm a photography student and I bought this for a digital class, even though most of my classes are film, for which I also use a Canon Rebel. I got the 35mm Rebel first and loved it so much that when I needed a DSLR, I went back to Canon for that as well, and I'm happy I did! It's pretty easy to use and great quality and it's totally worth every penny I spent on it. :)

Cons: Shaky operation, Slow Start-up time

Its my first DSLR. I find it very easy and fun to use. It takes great photos. I dont think i'll buy or recommend anything but canon.
