I've been using Sonicare brushes for at least 15 years. This will be my 3rd one. The last one lasted 10 yrs. The other ones were the older fatter design. This one, HX6710 is the newer slender design. I understand it has a better lithium battery, which will run longer. So far, it works great. I have read that the linkage inside that holds the brush, sometimes fails sooner than it should. Time will tell. I am giving it an excellent rating, because it performs very well.

The Sonicare toothrush is wonderful for getting my teeth clean. My teeth always have that shiny, just cleaned by the dentist feeling. The toothbrush also does a great job of massaging my gums. My mouth feels much healthier since I started using my Sonicare
Pros: i love the timer., the brush reaches all surfaces
Cons: the timer works sporadically

After a lifetime of soft brush use, I had to get used to the differences between that and an electric brush. That said, I like the product and do notice an upgrade in the condition of my teeth and gums.
Wish it was a little bit less long, which I find slightly awkward.
