I am in my 60's and my teeth are yellowing. I tried Zoom and it caused my sensitive teeth to Zap me every few minutes for more than 3 days. Won't do that again!
Since I have started using the Sonicare toothbrush my teeth are noticeable whiter. I use a little baking soda on the toothbrush a couple times a week and I think that helps too.
I haven't been to the dentist since I purchased it so I don't know if there is less plaque, but my teeth feel smooth and slick after brushing just like they do after a professional cleaning.
I had been using another electric toothbrush and thought it did a good job. It was messy and hard to keep the head clean. With the Sonicare I just rinse the head, nothing gets down inside the neck.
Since I have started using the Sonicare toothbrush my teeth are noticeable whiter. I use a little baking soda on the toothbrush a couple times a week and I think that helps too.

The toothbrush performs well and the clean options are nice to have, I sometimes question if the different frequencies the brush modes at to "whiten" actually makes a difference but the battery has lasted me during a week long camping trip and the inductive charging on all of these is great. I also like the included travel case.
Pros: cleaning modes, great battery life, makes my mouth feel clean
Cons: could be a little smaller

THERE'S A DIE-CAST PIECE INTERNALLY THAT TIES THE ELECTRIC VIBRATING MOTOR TO THE BRUSH HEAD SHAFT... YOU CAN ALMOST GRANTEE YOURSELF, THAT ANYWHERE FROM 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR THIS PIECE WILL BREAK, CAUSING THE BRUSH NOT TO MOVE / OSCILLATE AS DESIGNED... THIS HAS BEEN AN ON-GOING ISSUE FOR PHILLIPS, BUT YET THEY DO NOTHING TO RE-DESIGN THIS PART?
