great product, the new slimmer brushhead is much improved over the previous model

great product, the new slimmer brush head is much improved over the previous model, this is my second Sonicare. The customer service in the past when I called in with problems about my toothbrush has been great.
Pros: best toothhrush i've used
Cons: replacement brush heads are very expensive

Great tool, a little complicated to use, bad battery strategy.

Overall: I love Sonicare. It's great for your teeth and gums--the most significant advance in home dental hygiene in thirty years. There are few things I don't like--such as non-replaceable batteries--that apply to all Sonicare products. A few complaints apply specifically to this model.
Incompatibility: The Elite looks nice, but it angers me that the older heads I had bought no longer fit. That's a waste of money, and to existing customers feels like betrayal.
Ease-of-Use: This version is a little too fancy. I don't use the multiple settings for easy, medium and vigorous, and they are inconvenient. When I want to go longer than two minutes, or shorter, I have to press the button several times to get it to stop.
Non-replaceable battery. Bugs me that I cannot replace the battery when it will no longer hold a charge. Everything else still works, I still have extra brush-heads, but I have to discard the entire unit once the battery-life is exceeded. Seems very wasteful, and environmentally irresponsible.
Pros: great for teeth and gums, easy to use (in general)
Cons: multiple button-presses to stop, non-replaceable battery, incompatibilty with previous models

The motor seems stronger than my previous sonicare.

I like the strength of the new Sonicare. The last one I had petered out after two years. It feels like my teeth are getting cleaner. However, I don't always get the whitening feature. If I turn it back on after two minutes, it still says cleaning until 30 sec. later. Too long!
Pros: strong motor
Cons: not sure how to get the whitening feature to kick

Great product. Easy to use, durable, and cleaning is a breeze. Without question I would recommend to family and friends. In fact I purchased 2 more rechargeable toothbrushes for my 2 sons. Feedback from my 2 sons is also positive. I purchased other rechargeable toothbrushes in the past and it turned out to be a waste of my money. The products were not very durable and had a short battery life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It covers each tooth both front and back to get the teeth cleaned and it removes a lot of the plaque that accumulates after eating.
