The first generation brush was expensive to replace the heads. THe unit lasted a long time though. I'm hoping to get the life out of this one that I did the first one. Don't know how much the heads cost off hand but I love the design.

One great toothbrush!

I bought the HealthyWhite toothbrush to replace my old original Sonicare which lasted forever. It finally stopped taking a charge. The thing I like best about the HealthyWhite toothbrush is not only does it get my teeth super clean (the dental hygienist is always impressed), but the charge lasts much longer in this new toothbrush. It easily goes a week with twice daily brushing between charges if need be. I have traveled with this new brush and find I don't need to bring my charger.
Pros: long lasting charge

I originally bought this toothbrush because I wanted the cheapest toothbrush that came with a global charger. Very satisfied with the performance, but falls short (obviously) of the flexcare plus, which uses the same (rather expensive) brush heads but delivers far more in terms of cleaning power, customization, and battery life. The Healthywhite is a great buy if you're looking for a cheaper, globally-compatible option, but if you're serious about your teeth (like really serious), then I'd recommend the Flexcare Plus.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's the most powerful and easy to use.I have had one for years and just bought one for my son.

I believe that because of this toothbrush,I have better dental visits and have not experienced any decay since I used this product.
Cons: battery is not changeable

I wish I had started using Sonicare years before I did. These products have improved the health of my teeth unbelievably. This product is a great improvement over my older toothbrush ecause it eliminated the hollow space between the handle and the brush heaad that got water in it.
