This is the second time I purchased a Phillips Sonicare rechargeable toothbrush and twice, after about two years the setting chance button ceases to work. The best I can expect is that it works intermittently and occasionally not.
Pros: great when new
Cons: warranty not long enough

Professional cleaning everyday, without the office visit!

Genius, simple to use and master. The brush keeps the time I spend on each quadrant and does a great job of cleaning. Powerful, yet my five year old daughter handles it. Head replacement is easy. After just two months of use I visited my Dental Hygienist for a cleaning and she couldn't believe how clean my teeth were. She asked me how I got them so clean, I told her Sonicare!
Pros: rechargeable, works great

It stopped working after 4 months use.

I purchased two of these tooth brushes last year for my daughters. One is still working and charging. I have no complaints for that, but the other stopped working after only four months use. So, they have to transfer toothbrush heads on one toothbrush, even though I bought two to avoid that problem. With a 50% failure rate, I can't recommend this product as any more than fair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We really like our new toothbrushes! We weren't sure at first but after the first use, the difference in how clean our teeth felt and looked was amazing. I would highly recommend the Sonicare toothbrush!
